Established in 1981, the Melbourne Triathlon Club (MTC) is the oldest Triathlon Club in Australia. With a growing dynamic group of members, we focus on providing athletes of all ages and standards with access to great triathlon and multi-sport coaching and training programs. Supervised club training sessions are provided by Fluid Movements, MTC's preferred coaching provider. All training venues are safe, challenging and within close proximity of a good café. |

Coach Foster sets Port Mac on Fire |

Hi,
About 30 athletes from the Melbourne Tri Club, including myself this year traveled north to Port Macquarie for the Ironman. There was a mix of first timers and repeat competitors lining up from the club, all with high spirits and expectations.
The bar had been set in NZ by Adam Sharman, with a smoking time of 9:47 at his first attempt at an Ironman. This set the standard to strive for at Port Macquarie.
