Established in 1981, the Melbourne Triathlon Club (MTC) is the oldest Triathlon Club in Australia. With a growing dynamic group of members, we focus on providing athletes of all ages and standards with access to great triathlon and multi-sport coaching and training programs. Supervised club training sessions are provided by Fluid Movements, MTC's preferred coaching provider. All training venues are safe, challenging and within close proximity of a good café. |

MTC had a great day in Shepparton with a swag of podium finishes both in the Half IM and the Hexman.
In the Half Ironman the Top5's for the team were :
* Tristan Barnes : 4:00:30 (5th overall) 1st 25-29 by 15mins
* Lyndall Hillbrich : 4:57:28 1st 25-29
* Team Fluid Movements - Andrew Downie / Campbell Maffett : 4:00:46 1st Teams
* Jacinta Collier : 5:19:24 2nd 18-24
* Sean Foster : 4:21:30 3rd 35-39
* Lauren Jones : 5:05:44 4th 25-29
In the Hexman the top5's for the team were :
* Kristy Hallett : 3rd overall in the open category
* Liz Moore : 2nd in 20-29age
* Ryan Schultz : 4th in 30-39age

WHAT A SUCCESS!!! The Docklands delivered an excited backdrop for the MTC duathlon and proved to be a successful race. The technical course tested most racers and was one of our biggest Duathlons ever. Thank you to all volunteers for the efforts and for all who participated in the race. The new face of MTC has arrived!!!2008 Melbourne Tri Club Training / Racing Uniforms have arrived. Check it out below  CLICK HEREThe most comprehensive range of Melbourne Tri Club gear has been designed and is ready for you to order.
Go to the MTC Shop and click on the 2008 / 09 Gear to check it all out. There is Cycling Gear and Race Gear in both Male and Female cuts in a complete range of sizes. We strongly recommend that you drop into CBD Cycles to confirm your size before ordering. CBD Cycles are located in the city at:
• 50 Bourke St, and
• 660 Bourke St.
We expect most of the gear to be delivered prior to the Duathlon, but this may be cutting it a little fine given the quality criteria we have. to get the members price you'll need to login using your User ID and Password. if you renewed recently, this would have been e-mailed to you otherwise it's best if you renew prior to purchase.

After a long road to recovery from the Awards night on saturday, the team here at MTC have finally published the photos from the gala event. Fun was had by all and was great to see some newcomers to the MTC take out some awards on the night.
